Mosley scores 1,000th point as Terps win first game on opponent's court this seasonSenior swingman Sean Mosley scored his 1,000th career point and sophomore guard Terrell Stoglin scored 27 as Maryland held on to beat Clemson, 64-62, to win its first game on an opponent's court this season. After holding a 14-point lead, the Terps survived a late Clemson rally, thanks partly to the Tigers' missed free throws at the end. Maryland had lost five of its past six games entering Tuesday night. The Terps needed a win to pull within a game of. 500 in the ACC and to demonstrate — to the conference and themselves — that they are on an upward arc.

When the Orioles assemble for their first pitcher and catcher workouts less than two weeks from now, there will be a number of difficult challenges facing manager Buck Showalter and the coaching staff. Like figuring out who everybody is.
The deal that sent Jeremy Guthrie to the Colorado Rockies for two more right-handers increased the number of pitchers on the 40-man roster to 21, and the number arriving at the Ed Smith Stadium for the first workout on Feb. 19 could top 30 when you add in all the non-roster players who will receive invitations.
